This past Saturday (June24) Jen and I went up to AJ's Jeep body shop to pick up the long awaited new fiberglass body

(no more rust).

After we loaded the body into the U-Haul, Jen noticed there was a scratch on the back so these two guys fixed it on the spot.

(They did a perfect job fixing it but the owner still knocked some bucks off the price)

I got the body home and cut some holes in the floor for the shifters to poke up through and set it on the frame. I think that it looks great. It will have to come back off since some more things have to be done to the frame but it fits good.

The bottom of the door opening is at 32". That is higher than expected and I don’t have the bigger tires on yet.

I didn't expect this to be a redneck mobile but it looks like I'll have to get a gun rack and start chewing tobacco after all.

I thought this was a cool shot down the side of the Jeep. AJ's did a great job on the gel coat, and no it is not purple like boxes car, its just the lighting. J

More to come soon!!
